Bone Gnomes
The gnomes of Mazer long ago traded the power of illusion for the power of the grave.
- +2 Intelligence, -2 Constitution: Bone gnomes are quick of mind, but their long association with the powers of death have rendered them weak and emaciated as a species.
- Small Size: +1 bonus to Armor Class, +1 bonus on attack rolls, +4 bonus on Hide checks, -4 penalty on grapple checks, lifting and carrying limits 3/4 those of Medium characters.
- A bone gnome's base land speed is 20 feet.
- Low-light vision.
- +2 racial bonus on saving throws against necromantic spells and effects.
- Add +1 to the Difficulty Class for all saving throws agains necromantic spells cast by bone gnomes. This adjustment stacks with those from similar effects, such as the Spell Focus feat.
- +2 racial bonus on Craft (alchemy), Knowledge (arcana), and Spellcraft checks.

- Spell-Like Abilities: 1/day - speak with dead (1 question). A bone gnome with a Charisma score of at least 10 also has the following spell-like abilities: 1/day - disrupt undead, inflict minor wounds, touch of fatigue.Caster level 1st; save DC 10 + bone gnomes Cha modifier + spell level.
- Favored Class: Necromancer
Goblins
Consumate miners, goblins care about little but financial gain. Goblins of Mazer are often true neutral, and are known to trade raw ore with anyone. No other type of goblinoid (i.e Bugbears and Hobgoblins) are known to dwell in Ironspace.
- -2 Strength, +2 Dexterity, -2 Charisma.
- Small Size: +1 bonus to Armor Class, +1 bonus on attack rolls, +4 bonus on Hide checks, -4 penalty on grapple checks, lifting and carrying limits 3/4 those of Medium characters.
- A goblin's base land speed is 30 feet.
- Darkvision out to 60 feet.
- +4 racial bonus on Move Silently and Profession (Miner) checks.

Humans

Iron Elves
Deep in the woods of stunted trees that grow upon Mazer, dwell the Iron Elves. The Iron elves frequently keep goblin miners as slaves, and have honed the arts of the forge to a level unparalleled within Iron Space. The iron elves have little interest in magic, and claim no god as their patron.
Iron elves are have all the elven racial traits in the Players Handbook except as follows. Iron elves are usually lawful evil.
- +2 Strength, -2 Charisma: A life spent at the forge gives strength of the iron elves, but they are decidedly short on charm.

Ratlings
Ratlings are short rat men, they stand around 3 feet tall. Ratlings live under foot in human cities, and occasionally band together in caravans to wander the roads. Ratlings have all the halfling racial traits in the Players Handbook except as follows.
