In order to maintain the unique flavor of each character, only one prestige class may be taken by a character. Upon achieving Epic Level the character may also take an epic prestige class, or a second basic prestige class. After this point the character may enter one additional prestige class at 101st level, and every one hundred levels thereafter (201, 301, etc.). Prestige classes are difficult to enter and must be role-played into, entrance into a specific prestige class is in no way guaranteed.
